ALCANTARA ® PANNEL/COVER

Fiber composite for automotive interiors

ALCANTARA® is a synthetic fabric – a fiber composite made from a blend of 32% polyurethane and 68% polyester. Its surface resembles suede leather; it is breathable, flexible, wrinkle-free, wear-resistant, easy to clean and maintain, and highly durable against abrasion.

Thanks to its exceptional properties and luxurious appearance, it is highly sought after by clients. In original manufacturing, it is the choice of many premium car brands (AUDI, Lamborghini, VW, and others).

COVER – fabric with lamination (backing layer) designed for high-stress applications such as seating surfaces.

• Composition: Polyester 68% / Polyurethane 32% + Backing: Polyester 65% / Cotton 35%

• Thickness: ≥ 0.95 mm

• Weight: ≥ 325 g/m² (UNI EN 29073-1)

• Tensile strength (long./transv.): ≥ 700 N / ≥ 400 N (UNI EN 29073-3)

• Peeling strength: ≥ 10 N (UNI EN ISO 2411)

• Application: suitable for seat surfaces such as car seats
